Mechanical Fitter - Prommac (Global) - Chemical Plant

(2025-01)

• Project: Shutdown at Sasol (Rectisol & Ammonia).
• Performed duties related to the opening and closing of equipment.
• Managed equipment opening/closing specifically for high-pressure cleaning purposes.
• Worked on lines, vessels, heat exchangers, valves, reactors, drums, components, flare lines, and condensers.
• Practiced strict safety and good housekeeping protocols.

Mechanical Fitter - Ingrain SA

(2021-12 - 2024-06)

• Performed daily plant inspections on machinery and equipment (gear pumps, rotary valves, starch packing machines).
• Handled gearbox assembly, clearance, and alignment.
• Maintained flights conveyors, changed bearings, and serviced loading spout machine blowers.
• Managed valves, centrifuge pumps, vacuum pumps, and V-belt & chain alignment.
• Attended to various breakdowns during normal hours and on standby weeks.
