I have been fortunate to be able to acquire the competencies required in a engineering environment where logic thinking & mathematical skills are key requirements. I have a solid understanding of the technical requirements of machine setting and production. As part of my responsibilities, I have consistently reviewed blueprints, drawings, and manuals to ensure that I understand the specifications and requirements of each job.
I take pride in meticulously planning the necessary actions to complete tasks, setting up tooling and machines according to the job requirements, and monitoring production closely to maintain high standards. Over the years, I have gained experience in troubleshooting and fault finding, and I am often the first point of contact for colleagues in need of assistance. I am highly skilled in using a variety of measuring instruments to ensure precision in my work, and I am well-versed in performing inspections, both during and after production, to ensure that all parts meet quality specifications.
My experience and the training I have acquired have equipped me with the expertise needed to operate and set various machines, such as CNC turning, milling and grinding machines, as well as service and lumsden grinders. Additionally, I am accustomed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols, and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and production goals.
