I did 16 short courses in order to qualify for the financial modeling and valuation analyst final exam and I was able to pass all 16 of them with an average of 85%. Financial modeling can be used to estimate the value of a business, project, or investment. It can be used for a variety of purposes including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and private equity investments.
