I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Simon Mshiane turning 48 years old on the 3rd of October 2023. I've been married for 19 years and blessed with three daughters. I'm currently working for OEM by the name of UD Trucks South Africa.
I am a dedicated and experienced professional with a strong background in driver training and development. My career journey has taken me from hands-on roles as a general worker to leadership as a Driver Development Manager, equipping me with a well-rounded perspective and a deep understanding of the industry.
Fueled by a passion for improving driver competence and road safety, I continuously seek opportunities to enhance training effectiveness and promote operational excellence. I take pride in delivering high-quality, impactful training that empowers drivers to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and confidently.
Currently, I serve as Manager: Driver Development at UD TRUCKS International Sales, based at our headquarters in Singapore. In this role, I lead Train-the-Trainer programs and provide strategic support to our International Hubs. My responsibilities span across multiple markets, including Southern Africa, MEENA, Singapore, Latin America, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan.
