I am a newly admitted attorney, I completed my practical vocational training in the commercial litigation department at a law firm in Cape Town.

Completing my vocational training contract in commercial litigation. Responsibilities include:

• Legal research; drafting legal letters and pleadings; filing, indexing and paginating court bundles.
• Conducting WinDeed property and company searches.
• Client consultations.
• Western Cape High Court - filing, issuing summons, apostilling documents, court certifying documents, liaising with registrars and observing matters in court.
• Serving and filing at Cape Town Magistrate’s Court, Cape Town Labour Court, Cape

Town sheriff’s office and Cape Town Master of the High Court.

• Conducting due diligence tasks and drafting the due diligence report.
• Drafting commercial documents such as resolutions, sale of shares agreements and shareholders agreements.
• Attending conciliations and arbitrations at the CCMA and bargaining councils.

I did my BA Law and LLB undergraduate degrees at the University of Pretoria and I did my Masters in Dispute Resolution at the University of Cape Town.
