I started to work at Aveng Moolmans which is a mining contractor after I graduated for the University of Johannesburg in August 2022. I start of as a Mining Graduate on the 8
of August 2022 and was later promoted to acting Technical Manager on the 1st of April
2023 . These were my responsibilities as both a Mining Graduate and Technical Manager during my time at Aveng Moolmans
During my studies at the University of Johannesburg where I studied BEng Tech Mining Engineering .I learnt about the whole mine value chain how one process affects the others.I spent alot of time doing Mine Planning and
Design where the whole concept of designing a mine.
Engineering that taught us about how the different support structures work in the different mining methods.
Evaluation I learnt how to determine if the Mining rate is effective enough for the mine to make enough revenue to be sustainable.
