Application for the position/s of Driver/Driver's Assistant/General Worker/Picker/Loader.
I have a Grade 12 certificate (Matric) and code 14 EC driver’s license with PDP. I have 5
years of experience in civil engineering construction, administration, driving and petrol provision including landscaping/grass cutting. Of which positions held are Driver/Petrol Station
Carwash – Cleaner and General Worker/Grass Cutter/Supervisor and some of my duties are as follows:
Ensure that administrative duties on site are carried out. Ensure all project equipment and needs are in place. Driving a truck delivering materials and workers. Quality control, making sure the grass is cut to customer satisfaction.
Supervising other employees and reporting on progress to the Company owner. Ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working condition for the effective repair of sewer network pipes. Excavating and backfilling trenches by making use of shovels, pickaxes, rakes and rammers to repair leaking sewer pipes.
Cleaning and maintenance of machinery and equipment. General cleaning of vehicles.
Making sure the customers are always satisfied. Planning of duties. Supervising other employees and reporting on progress to the Company owner. General planning. Cleaning and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Ensuring that Occupational health and safety requirements are followed. Assisting with flagman duties. Driving of a truck to deliver good and people from site to site.
Assist and install pipeline. Load and off load of tools, materials and equipment on a daily basis. Assisting with the cleaning and repair of water supply/distribution system (drains, pipelines, structures etc.) during pipe installations.
Assist with the mixing of concrete as required. Assist with the construction of concrete canals as well as placing of concrete for buildings and structures when required. Maintain and take care of machinery, equipment, tools and goods.
Assist with the cleaning and repair of mechanical equipment (generators, pipes etc.) Assist with construction of steel structures. Assist with the cleaning and repair of electrical equipment (electric panels, electric cables, lights, electric starters etc.) which may entail digging of holes and trenches.
