During my undergraduate and postgraduate degree I worked with ANSYS Workbench in my final year project and design project, respectively, and developed a proficiency with the software. My undergraduate project allowed me to design a project from inception to completion and carry it out practically and theoretically. Thus improving my time management skills by making sure I was able to balance competing tasks, as well as being able to adapt to shifting priorities as time progressed and external factors came into effect.
My honours project, on the other hand, required me to create a user manual for the undergraduate students, this meant that I had to be confident in what I was doing as well as being capable of communicating the process in a clear and precise manner.
While studying I worked as a teaching assistant with the first year engineering calculus students and was eventually promoted to head teaching assistant. This time working with students improved my communication skills as well as my confidence in speaking to groups of people. It taught me patience and that everyone deserves a moment to learn.
I worked at the University of Pretoria as the Head Teaching Assistant for first year Engineering Calculus from 2017 to 2022. I was responsible for coordination between lecturers and other tutors, explaining problems to students in class, marking class tests, assignments and semester tests.
Studied at the the University of Pretoria and completed the following degrees:
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Completed in 2020)
Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechanical) (Completed in 2022)
