My goal has always been to learn and expand as an individual when immersed in the job market. I pride myself in being a team player and a fast learner, which I consider to be my greatest asset in any role that I am privileged enough to attain. I can take initiative and demonstrate the high levels of motivation required to meet the strictest of deadlines while performing effectively.
I have years of receptionist and management experience in the hospitality industry, and administrative experience in the medical industry with claims, invoicing, report writing and liaising with medical aids all being part of my strongest suits.
Simply put, I have a passion for administrative work. Giving order to important information and files in a way that makes it is easy to access for all relevant parties is an underrated skill, and one I take pride in doing well.
I have years of experience in the hospitality industry as first as a receptionist, and eventually earned a managerial position in a medium-sized guest house, which I ran for three years.
I also have a year's worth of experience in an administrative role in a medical practice, which has enlightened me a great deal on the inner workings of the private health are sector. I'm efficient in creating digitized versions of patient reports, creating specialist appointments for patients, billing medical aid patients, issuing invoices for the business, front receptionist duties (opening patient files, checking benefits, ensuring the overall good experience for patients) and all general administrative duties of the practice.
I completed my matric in 2011 with three distinctions and a 70+ percent average.
In 2022, I earned a certificate in HIV/AIDS Care and Counselling from the University of South Africa, something which gave me a great perspective in my admin role in the health industry.
