I am an admitted attorneyof the High Court of South Africa currently practicing as an intellectual property practitioner. I am a registered patent attorney and a qualified trade mark practitioner. I am a member of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law as well as a member of the Licensing Executives Society International including its South African branch.

I am a performance and results driven individual with more than 7 years’ experience within a commercial and intellectual property legal environment. I have experience managing several intellectual property lawyers as well as managing an IP department within a commercial law firm as an independent business unit. Additionally, I have more than 3 years’ research and development experience within the chemistry industry, experience that I have found valuable in analysing information, compiling strategies and providing sound advice to various clients.

I am an extremely fast adapter to any situation and/or system, with excellentpresentation and communication skills. I believe in continuous personal development and have furthered my career in law with specific focuson Intellectual PropertyLaw. I apply a commercially orientated approach to the law, focusingon the commercial considerations of clients in compiling and implementation of various and relevant legalstrategies.
