I am a independent consulting Civil Engineer and Event Venue Co-owner along with my wife Nicole.
My previous work was as a stormwater engineer at AECOM's Cape Town offices. I was responsible for the hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and design for various large projects in Australia, South Africa and the Middle East.
Between 2019 and 2022, I worked as a Civil Engineer in Jones & Wagener's Centurion offices. My role mostly involved hydraulic design of stormwater infrastructure for mining projects, mine landform design for dumps and tailings storage facilities (TSFs) and rehabilitation design for opencast and underground operations.
I obtained my Master's degree (MEng) in Civil Engineering (Cum Laude), specialising in hydraulic structures, from the University of Stellenbosch where I also obtained my Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree (Cum Laude).
