I am an economic researcher with experience in trade and industrial policy, transformation policy and black economic empowerment, and sector development.
I have more than 20 years research experience covering macro-economic, trade, industrial and employment indicators. The last 12 years have been at executive level within the public service (DDG level). I have worked on private-sector initiatives, NGO-funded community development and industrial sector development with a particular interest in Agriculture/Agro-processing.
I hold an MSc in Economics from the University of London, a Post-Grad Diploma in Economics and a Bachelors in Sociology from the University of Cape Town.
