Sushiela Narainasamy

Hold BTech Degree in Travel Management, I specialized in Marketing III, Strategic Management IV, Business Administration and Research Methodology, have over 15 years experience.

Even though I hold a Travel Degree, I ended up working in finance/admin. I did not venture into any other travel jobs, as I thoroughly enjoyed the finance/admin aspect of travel. I was headhunted by other Travel companies via the recruitment agencies, hence me staying in travel companies, and I became complacent. I did not apply to other companies as I was happy in my position at my previous company, until the COVID-19 pandemic happened.

This was a “wake-up” call and I decided I can do anything that I put my mind to.

I was retrenched but found employment at Tevo in Kempton Park. I am looking to join “other companies”; reason being, I don’t have to work in travel finance/admin only, I can work in other corporate or private companies etc. I may not hold a qualification in finance, but I am ever ready to learn what I don’t know. I am a mature person who comes with knowledge, skills and a keen sense of humour.

I am passionate about customer service. I am doer, I want to get things done.

I hold a BTech Degree in Travel Management. I have done various other short courses.

The last course that I have done was TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language)

I know this has no bearing on the work I do but I am passionate about learning and teaching other people what I know. Yes, I did teach English for a bit to Chinese and Taiwanese online.
