Tarryn Josephus

As a young social work graduate, I was able to gain experience in a number of settings through my academic placements. This includes; a safe house for women and children, old age facilities, NGO's as well as childcare settings. Not only was I able to gain experience in the different methods of practice (specifically group and individual work).

I have acquired essential administrative skills, writing skills, computer skills and I have also been able to improve my interpersonal and transferable skills on a day-to-day basis.

Together with the University of Cape Town and academic placements, I believe that I possess the necessary foundation to practice all I have learnt in a new environment and to also build on that foundation. I have full confidence that my knowledge and skills which I have acquired as a student would help me make a meaningful contribution to your department/company.

Some of the key elements which I believe may qualify me for consideration of a position in your department/company are as follow.
