During my time at Luno, I assisted with onboading customers by following KYC protocols. Then if any team needs assistance with reversal of funds, locating funds, liquating funds or moving crypto funds I would assist with this, by requesting banking verification documents and ID and verify that all information matches and belongs to the customer/depositor so that we can proceed with the necessary action.
African customer we used ‘PB Verify’ to verify banking details. Basically I would assist customer with any payment related query they may have. Daily duties included manually allocating deposits and withdrawals if the incorrect reference was used or if the bank account needed manually verification.
