Taslyn Hector

I'm an introvert by nature, yet carry an understated confidence when engaging with others. Light hearted and spirited, with a genuine creative energy that comes through in my work. I'm a 25-year-old South African graphic designer based in Johannesburg, with a Bachelor's degree from Greenside Design Center and hands-on experience across illustration/animation, poster design, content creation for social media, corporate identity, marketing and editorial design.

I approach every project with perseverance, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Most recently, I spent three years designing printable therapy resources for an Etsy-based mental health brand with a largely international customer base — especially in the US — which gave me great experience creating work that resonated across different markets. I'm now looking for my next opportunity to bring that same creativity and reliability to a design team.
