Tayla Mackintosh

I am a passionate artist and specialize in a variety of mediums including ceramics, traditional crochet, illustration, digital media as well as content creation.

I am proficient in the following programs: the Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe programs such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Premier Pro. I have experience in curating and experience in exhibition installation. I have worked extensively with customers in art sales and social media marketing.

I am a motivated and hardworking person. I have good time management skills, I am organized and a team player. I have great communication skills and I have a good eye for detail. I am very passionate about art and learning more about how the art world functions as well as interested in being a part of it.

Teaching assistant (2 years working experience in this position.) for the head of the department at Rhodes University Fine Art sculpture department: I worked as a practical teacher instructing on various sculpting techniques to 1st, 2nd and 3rd-year university students. These include:

•  Slip mold casting 
•  How to use Body Double 
• Ceramic glazing techniques 
•  Clay building and bust making 

I have extensive knowledge of clay sculpting and artistic anatomy. I also know how to create and edit videos using programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. This includes sound editing and content creation.
