2015 (1 year): Worked as a production intern in the sugar mills and spray drying industry with key focus being on process optimization as well as staff training.
2017 (6 months): Worked as a plant operator running the effluent treatment plant at one of the packaging plants in Durban. Duties were running of the physical and chemical treatment processes, maintenance as well as laboratory work.
2017 (6 months): Worked as a process safety consultant. Hired by different companies to conduct HAZOP, HAZID and SWIFT studies on major project modifications or upgrades.
2018 to current: Currently working as the technical officer/process engineer at one of Veolia's sites in KZN. In charge of running of the water treatment plant as well as staff. Also work on the technical aspects of waste management such as waste valorization, research and development, air and water quality as well as technical reports to authorities.
