I studied at Mangosuthu University of Technology and I obtained the NDip in Nature conservation, Advanced Diploma in Nature Conservation and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nature conservation. I have volunteered at EThekwini Municipality in 2019 as a cadet student thereafter I worked at Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife as an intern my duties were as follows:

Data collection and capturing, coastal area monitoring and inspection, provide support for compliance and enforcement , wetlands rehabilitation, restoration and monitoring, waste management and recycling, soil erosion control, protecting and monitoring protected species, monitoring wildlife and game animals, patrolling, reporting environmental incidents, Alien invasive plants removal and control, assist students in research projects, engage in community extension programmes In 2022 I worked at EThekwini Municipal as a Project coordinator and my duties were as follows:

formulate plans which encourages community involvement capacitate and empower communities support economic uplifting and development initiatives

Develop interventions and event diaries interact with stakeholders to promote engagement and discussions on common priorities, consents and constrains

Participate in meetings related to economic development opportunities

Assist municipality line department with service deliver

Waste management, environmental education, monitoring water catchment areas, identifying and removing alien invasive plant species, rehabilitation and restoration of degraded ecosystem, wetlands protection, assisting in environmental impacT assessment
