I am a qualified Social Worker and TEFL teacher with a strong passion for supporting children’s development both academically and emotionally. I currently teach Life Orientation in the classroom and have experience teaching English as a Foreign Language, as well as assisting learners—particularly those following the Cambridge curriculum—with homework and assignments online.
My background in social work allows me to understand learners holistically, including their emotional, behavioural, and social needs. I am able to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, motivated, and encouraged to participate. I am especially skilled in working with learners from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds, and I focus on building confidence, discipline, and positive behaviour.
As a TEFL teacher, I use engaging, learner-centred approaches to improve reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. I adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles and levels, ensuring that each learner is supported effectively.
