Thando Khanyisile Msomi

I am a Logistics Management graduate from the Vaal university of Technology.

I have had an opportunity to work within a corporate environment for a few months through a Learnership program. In August 2021, I joined Cartrack and was given an opportunity to work within the Quality Assurance department. Besides assessing inbound and outbound calls made by sales, I have also been part of a team that has streamlined and refined sales process to ensure best outcomes and practices.

In July 2022, I was welcomed into the direct marketing department where I was a sales data analyst in the Learnership program where I retrieved sales calls from the system and analyze them according to the customers complaints. Within my time at cartrack, I have scheduled training to close the knowledge gap for agents on packages they might lack knowledge on or how the features work. I was given the task to compile the Upsell daily report in the Quality assurance department.

I pay attention to detail and ensure my work is always accurate. Compiling the report every morning has taught me accuracy and time management skills as it had to be submitted every morning at a certain time and it included senior management. That is one of the key aspects that made me to always pay attention to the details of my work as quality is always above quantity and work done correctly the first time does not need to be adjusted every time.

I have also investigated on whether the sales did actually happen with clients and agents even when they are sold two products at once by assessing the call between the client and the agent.
