I started as an accountant then Deloitte introduced me into data analytics which kept me interested and I never looked back as I grow in this profession I have worked on easy and difficult projects with Deloitte: leave provision, Recons, pension funds, and with EY there was a big project called Tshwane prepaid smart meter were I did Revenue Assurance, clearing suspense account, Allocating payments and Recons, Making recommendation to improve the system. I joined Nedbank in 2016 managing information and producing automated various reports using SAS Enterprise 9.3 from a star schema warehouse and extracting, transforming and loading data into warehouse. Then in 2020 I moved to home loans division to expand my exposure by building dashboards using power BI and understanding the business till I got promoted to CISO in 2022 (Cyber Information Security Office) to manage the models build by ETLs which I subsequently use to analyse and produces reports for our BISO to action and also do data quality as part of our data governance.
