I am a highly motivated and results-oriented Masters student in Cardiovascular Genetics within the Department of Medicine at the University of Cape Town (UCT), also having completed my BMedSc (Hons) in Human Genetics at UCT. My Honours project, 'Finding the Disease-Cousing Variants in a South African Family Affected with Dilated Cardiomyopathy,' allowed me to delve deeper into the field.
I gained valuable hands-on experience with laboratory techniques. Beyond research, I possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills developed through roles such as Head of House, School Prefect, and active participation in student leadership teams. I am a dedicated team player with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
