I am 24 year old South African with strong Analytical Chemistry and Metabolomics background. I am focused on analytical techniques such as Gas Chromatography/TOF/Mass Spectrometry and Tandem Mass Spectrometry (MS/MS). I am a goal driven individual, paying close attention to detail. I am a fast learning with the ambition to learn new skills related to my profession.
Experience in untargeted Metabolomics Method Development, done on a GC-TOFMS analytical platform, extraction techniques such as: Modified Bligh and Dyer Two-Phase extraction and Oliver Fhien extraction methods. (2021 B.Sc. Honours in Biochemistry Research Project - 1 year)
Experience in targeted Method Development and Method Validation, done on a GC-MS/MS (GC-QQQ) analytical platform, according to ISO 17025 Requirements. Genotyping, PCR and Gel Electrophoresis (2022 - 2023. M.Sc. in Biochemistry - In Progress)
