I am a automotive metrologist with strong understanding and application of GD&T, quality standards, quality core tools and customer specifications.
Experience
I have four years of experience at Thai Summit Autoparts Industry South Africa doing the following:
- Calibrate measuring instruments such as torque rench, digital vernier caliper, measuring tape and dial gauges.
- Plan Calibration schedule according to the frequency of Calibration per instrument.
- Calibration part checking fixtures and assembly welding fixtures using CMM machines and softwares (polyworks and PC-dmis).
- Support tool room with tool buy-offs and tool verification.
- Schedule and measure production parts according to customer specifications.
- Support process engineering department with root cause analysis.
- Reverse (Scan to CAD) Engineer tool block using Quick surface software.
Education
National diploma in mechanical engineering at Tshwane University of Technology.
