After a 5year apprenticeship I qualified in 2003 at Indlela trade centre. I worked shutdown projects at the mines and had an exposure on the pumps conveyors and other components. I did the assessor and moderator course and mentored basic fitting and turning for Alpha Technicsl Training. Currently I'm working at Nestle Babelegi noodle plant as a fitter and turner artisan since February 2022. I also work part time as a turner facilitator for Engineering Skills Academy.
