Tshidiso Mashilo

I am a hardworking individual with team work abilities and possess strong CAD design skills. I have used programs such as, Inventor, Fusion 360, MasterCAM and AutoCAD. In addition, I rely on my technical expertise and exceptional computer skills to serve as an appropriate candidate.

I am passionate about problem solving, paying careful attention to details in designs and manufacturing. Adding to my skills, I have 2-years of experience in manufacturing CNC router and laser machines, which is part of the Automation/Manufacturing/Robotics/Toolmaking industry. My roles were in electronics (low voltage wiring), electronic installations, assembly as well as doing inventory.

Furthermore, I am a Bachelor of Science Technology and Applied Design alumni from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, United States with sound knowledge to apply basic engineering principles.

Not only is Berea College one of America’s top colleges, but it also gave me a full 4-year scholarship based on its Tuition Promise Scholarship.

College’s mission is to provide an educational opportunity for students of all races, domestically (mainly from Appalachia), including those of international status, who have great promise and limited economic resources. Uniquely, Berea College is a liberal arts work college where every student is required to have a labor position working 10-20 hours a week on campus while pursuing their studies. Furthermore, for students like myself that were in a STEM major had to work on labs taking up close to 16 hours or more outside of class and labor positions. Despite the rigorous program at Berea College, I am honored to have been offered a high-quality liberal arts education that engaged me while I was pursuing my personal, academic and professional goals.

In closing, every labor position I had on campus came with a labor transcript, which documented the labor positions I held and how well I performed each job. Therefore, graduating from Berea College gave me specific job skills as well as strong work ethic, in addition to my academic abilities. Furthermore, I radiate passion for everything I do and would like to prove why I would add value to your organization.
