Hi, I'm a steel detailer, I started training back in the mid 90s during school holidays to use autocad, became a steel detailer in 2001 using a specialist software called Tekla, have run my own steel detailing company from March 2019 to date, now looking to try other jobs, have an interest in maritime and resort security, after spending a holiday on an MSC cruise I would like to spend some like learning a new skill on a ship of some kind.
I have spent more then 20 years detailing steel structures, bridges, plant buildings and 300+ homes in New Zealand, my work entails extremely accuracy down to the mm and making sure when my drawings are used everything on site gets erected like a perfect box of lego.
After high school I went straight into learning on the job as a traid skill in Zimbabwe, then the past 20 years in have done 1000s of jobs, at least one or more per month and each job is different and requires problem solving at a high level.
