• Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver FMCG and beverage products to customers.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with company safety requirements.
• Load products according to delivery schedules, customer requirements and established loading procedures.
• Ensure products are correctly counted, secured and protected during transportation.
• Offload products safely and efficiently at customer premises while minimising product damage and losses.
• Verify delivered quantities against invoices, delivery notes and customer orders.
• Handle and submit invoices, delivery documentation and proof of delivery (POD) accurately.
• Obtain customer confirmation and signatures for completed deliveries.
• Ensure returned products, empties, shortages or discrepancies are correctly recorded and reported.
• Apply knowledge of the beverage and FMCG product range when preparing and delivering customer orders.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Respond to customer queries regarding deliveries, quantities, products and documentation.
• Report damaged stock, shortages, incorrect orders and delivery discrepancies to the relevant supervisor.
• Follow designated delivery routes and ensure deliveries are completed within required timeframes.
• Comply with company policies relating to road safety, product handling, vehicle safety and customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle and ensure products are transported safely and securely.
• Assist with stock reconciliation by confirming physical quantities against delivery documentation.
• Work effectively with warehouse, distribution and logistics teams to ensure smooth daily deliveries.
