After graduating with a BSc Occupational Therapy degree from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town South Africa, I gained critical experience as a clinician at Dr Harry Surtie Hospital, a secondary referral hospital in the Northern Cape where I worked with a very adept MDT. Thereafter I entered the world of corporate medicine refining my case management skills as a disability claims assessor at Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited.
I've worked as a Social Media Manager for a small family owned CMT and online store, been a Clinical and Academic Supervisor of 4th year Occupational Therapy students and am currently working as a Case Manager for the Western Cape Department of Health.
At present I am working as a Case Manager at a district hospital in the Garden Route. Although I enjoy my job, I am looking for something that would be more of a challenge and that will provide more opportunities for career development.
I have a degree in BSc Occupational Therapy.
