Duties :
- Building and manufacturing electrical panels for pump stations
- Build electrical systems
- Maintenance and repairs on electrical panels and pumps.
- Repairs and upgrades existing panels and pump stations while maintaining service.
- Perform field-testing of panels and commissioning of pump stations.
- Co-ordinate the activities of site staff efficiently and cost effectively.
- Ensure all test equipment is calibrated before use.
- All site commissioning function including the completion of a certificate of compliance Recording
- Control and maintenance of all necessary documentation, e.g. test reports, QCP's Punch list panels and installations for defects.
- Co-ordinate and plan all commissioning functions with the Branch Manager/Contract Manager.
- Maintain a safe and effective administration and working environment in workshop and on site.
- Testing within workshop and completion of relevant ISO documentation if available.
- Record in red and check modifications to electrical drawings for as-built documentation.
- Ensure all the necessary safety measures are in place before applying power to apparatus reject installation of poor workmanship and defects.
- Issuing of NCR's for all SHEQ related issues.
- Ensure work complies with the ISO 9001:2005 QMS (construction policies and controls).
- Ensure all instruments calibrated on time.
