Whatmore Mavuru

I am an accomplished Electrical Engineer with significant experience of 12 years in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering and Design and Supervision. My professional background involves electrical power distribution networks, substation projects design and supervision and telecommunication project planning and implementation. I am self-motivated team player who continually seeks opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.

I have a great ambition to learn and an appetite for new challenges. My carrier objective is to obtain a professional position that will allow me to maximize and demonstrate my technical expertise in telecommunication engineering, by exploring new technologies so that I may exceed all expectations that an employer or client requires from me.

I worked as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Arup Zimbabwe from 2011 to 2013, and then joined TelOne in Zimbabwe as a Projects Engineer - Telecoms from 2013 to 2021. I then joined Huawei Technologies in South Africa as a Quality Control Engineer - Telecoms from 2021 to 2023.

Obtained a Bsc Honors Degree in Electrical Engineerimg which was awarded in February 2010 at the University of Zimbabwe
