Wihann is a filmmaker, creative producer and screenwriter, working mostly in the consumer insights, music video, short fiction, docu-fiction and experimental film spaces.
At Instant Grass International ( 2016 - 2019 ), he worked full-time as an in-field video-ethnographer, writing, producing, shooting and editing consumer insight videos for clients such as Google, Levis and Multichoice.
He has been privileged to have worked on two Silwerskermfees Festival shortfilms, Stut (2010) as a camera operator, assistant director and editor, and Die Groensone (2022) as a writer, producer, 2nd AD, designer and editor. He also directed and edited the music video “We Up” by Don Loyiso, an L.A Music Video Awards finalist.
As a filmmaker, he has directed and produced two docu-fiction portraits, The Lighthouse Keeper (2015) and Bounty Hunter (2023), the second winning two awards for best documentary short (Future of Film awards & Sophia Art Film Awards).
