Maintains a high level of attention to detail, reducing dispensing errors and ensuring patient safety. Proficient in pharmaceutical calculations, stock control systems, and electronic pharmacy management platforms used for capturing prescriptions and maintaining patient records.
Experienced in stock management processes, including procurement, receiving, storage, rotation, and disposal of pharmaceutical products. Ensures optimal stock levels are maintained, minimizes wastage, and prevents stockouts of essential medications. Knowledgeable in cold chain management and the proper handling of temperature-sensitive products to preserve efficacy and safety.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Provides clear instructions to patients regarding medication usage, dosage, storage, and adherence, ensuring improved therapeutic outcomes.
