Duties and Responsibilities

• Check post details on establishment and confirm that post is vacant and funded.
• Drafting of advertisement in terms of job description and submit to HO in prescribed by job description and job evaluation results and request placement in the relevant medium.
• Submit PILLIR temporary disability and study leave applications to CAO.
• Neatly record period on leave file cover.
• Capture leave application.
• Inform staff on leave balances.
• Check leave balance exit.
• Check whether overtime was authorized.
• Maintain EPMDS records and register.
• Receive and quality assures EPMDS documents.
• Storage and retrieval of documents and files.
• Filling all Human Resources documents.
• Open and close files ensure that all closed files are listed and stored in the storage area.
• Ensure that confidential information is not disclosed to unauthorized individuals.
• Receive, open, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
