SHE REP (Health and Safety Representative) - Ductech

I've been working as SHE REP at Ductech for 1 Year And 3 months now. I'm not only their She Representative, but I'm also their First Aider. I've worked on various projects with them. Started at Axim Midrand (april 2024-July 2024) as their She Rep. From there, I moved to Liberty (july 2024 -april 2024). Then I worked at Wits Zlystra (april 2024 Till Now).

• Identifying hazards, ensuring that employees are aware of and adhering to safety procedures
• Representing the workers to the management regarding health and safety matters
• Making sure all workers are in proper PPE before commencing work
• Conducting safety inspections on plant equipment and electrical appliances as well as emergency equipment
• Motivating employees on working safe on daily basis and following safety procedures
• Making suggestions for the improvement of health and safety
• Conducting toolbox talks
