After completing my BA LLB at the University of Cape Town, I began my Practical Vocational Training at ENS in the Pro Bono Department. I have passed all four Attorneys’ Admission Examinations and am awaiting admission in early 2026.
I assist clients who qualify under the means test and have gained experience in matters including but not limited to civil, family, and inheritance law. Detail-oriented and committed to meaningful outcomes, I strive to deliver effective legal support while continuously developing my professional expertise and building an impactful legal career

During the vacation work, I was placed in the Banking and Finance, Property, and Dispute Resolution departments, where I gained practical exposure to diverse areas of legal practice. I completed various assignments, including the drafting of a detailed legal opinion on environmental law based on a complex factual scenario. In addition, I formed part of a team that participated in a mooting competition on competition law.
I was also the recipient of the Office Sunshine Award, in recognition of my positive attitude and contribution to the firm’s working environment.

Gained hands-on experience regarding drafting and delivering summons, drafting a legal memo regarding liquidation of an estate, lifting files at the Master’s office and held a presentation regarding Shariah compliant wills and estates.
ENS Africa Pro Bono Office in Mitchell’s Plain | Vacation Work

Gained hands on experience regarding civil procedures such as protection orders, divorces, maintenance, etc. and held workshops within the community of Tafelsig Mitchells Plain about wills and the different types of marriages.
