I'm a child protection agent an active family support member.
I make sure people go for check ups,make sure they take their medications. Also give counseling.
I help a lady who has given up in life,who is HIV positive also have TB,and TB KNEE.
she stopped taking her medication, her knee was operated, but couldn't go for physio, also had a problem with her bladder could not feel her urine, she's on diapers.
She was sexually abused by the stepfather, she was 8yrs old then,the law faild her, she was not taken to the hospital, the constant rape affected her bladder.
So I stepped in to help her and her younger sister, from late 2022 till now, she gained confidence, she's taking her medication well,she can talk now, gained weight, she believes on herself now, her check ups are for,physiotherapy, psychologist, Orthopedic, Urology, TB and HIV..
I make sure she's attending all her check ups.
