As an experienced Safety Officer, I am interested in bringing my skills and industry knowledge to your organization.
Being a Safety Officer is more than just a job, is being a leader responsible for guiding the entire organization when it comes to adopting and implementing and following sound safety practices.
As a professional Safety Officer, I am ready for self-sacrifice than self-centred my responsibility is larger than my individual self, if I fail to conduct an inspection, audit or training the consequences could be damaging and fatal and can cause the organization a lot of money.
I have motivated myself through my profession that my role is to prevent accidents and to save lives, if there is negligence on my side what I failed to do will always have the impact and the systems. I make sure that I develop safety plan and I use the plan to develop training and find ways to enforce rules. I am able to respond timorously I maintain a proactive approach.
I build strong communication by conducting regular meetings, tool box training, worker surveys, and face to face discussion and develop system for logging issues, a system to share tips and updates on the newsletters and electronic notice boards.
I ensure I remain up-to-date by ensuring regular stop checks, audits, I document and communicate effectively so that everyone within the company is aware of and operate within safety procedures outlined all the time.
