Responsible for database tasks from SQL Server Installation, SQL migration, database upgrades, backups and restores, SQL patching and Windows patching, to troubleshooting database connectivity issues, database performance issues, and SQL HA cluster issues. Monitor disk spaces, backups, scheduled jobs, and High Availability health status of production databases. Maintain and administer database security access on test, dev, QA, and production databases.
Proactively monitor and respond to MSSQL database Alerts. Monitor and maintain database maintenance plans for backups, index rebuild/reorg, and database statistics to improve the performance of the databases.
