I am working as a science research intern at UVUBio. I have a diverse professional background with 1 year experience in both laboratory and administrative roles. In the lab, I have worked on sample preparation, equipment testing, swabbing, DNA extraction, and recombinant protein production and a lot more. These tasks have strengthened my technical skills and understanding of scientific processes.
On the administrative side, I have managed procurement, ensuring the lab has the necessary materials and equipment. Additionally, I hold a certificate in bioprocessing skills, highlighting my commitment to ongoing professional development.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Human Movement Science from the University of Zululand, which has provided me with a strong foundation in both the biological sciences and the study of human physiology and kinetics. This dual focus has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of microorganisms and their interactions, as well as the principles of human movement and health.
