Encouraging, motivating and giving a word of appreciation to the teams after completion of a store.
Assemble, Install, test and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of fault and correct the problem.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustments or repairs and to ensure compliance with codes.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.
Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
Repair or replace wiring, equipment, fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Ensuring that work is in accordance with the relevant codes and standards.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specification.
Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimation for material and services.
Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits and moving and lifting heavy objects.
Completed my grade 12 in 2005, also completed N2 in heavy current.
I did my electrical apprenticeship at the Transnet School of Engineering were I successfully obtained my Red seal certificate to become a qualified electrician.
