I am graduate in B.S.

Industrial

Chemistry from N.E.D University of Engineering of Technology, Karachi. I have worked as an apprentice at Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, and as a Chemistry teacher at Ronald Wilfred Coaching Center, Karachi, while I was a student.

I graduated in January 2019 and since then, I've worked as a Quality Control Officer at Hi Tech Inks and Coatings, Karachi for almost a year and a half. Later, I began teaching Chemistry at St. Lawrence's Boys School, Karachi. Currently, Later I began working as an English and Chemistry teacher at St. Patrick's Technical School, Karachi.

Learning and imparting knowledge, and serving my workplace to the best of my abilities is my goal. Chemistry, English, Quality Control and Quality Assurance are my areas of interest. I love to write and have excellent communication skills.

Writing, reading, surfing social media, delving into chemistry calculations, exploring Quality Control processes, and creating 2D whiteboard animations are a few of my hobbies. I am a versatile, hardworking and inquisitive individual with a diverse range of skillset. I am passionate about enhancing my working skills and maximizing productivity at my workplace.

WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Chemistry/ English Teacher and Laboratory Administrator 

St. Patrick’s Technical School, Karachi, Pakistan (19th Mar 2021 – 28th Feb 2022)

Some of my responsibilities were:

• Tutoring my students. Preparing lesson plans, notes, classwork, homework, assignments, assessments and exam papers for them.
• Working as a Chemistry Teacher and Laboratory Administrator. Lab maintenance, instrument handling/cleaning, preparing dilutions, labelling & storing samples, and keeping records of chemical stocks.
• Performing administrative tasks, maintaining files, typing and printing documents, composing and answering emails and phone calls, greeting and dealing with parents, resolving conflicts and organizing curricular and extra- curricular activities.

Chemistry Teacher & Laboratory Administrator 

St. Lawrence’s Boys School, Karachi, Pakistan (15th Nov 2020 – 16th Mar 2021)

Some of my responsibilities were:

• Tutoring students in class and in the Chemistry laboratory. Teaching them titration, analysis, separation techniques, data collection & interpretation, lab calculations, equipment calibration and usage. Preparing notes, worksheets and exam papers for them.
• Performing administrative tasks, data entry, compiling and maintaining student’s information, scheduling meetings and dealing with parents and their complaints.

Quality Control Officer/Chemist & Assistant Administrator 

HT Inks and Coatings, Karachi, Pakistan (1st Jan 2019 – 14th Nov 2020)

Some of my responsibilities were:

• Quality control testing of flexographic inks (finished products) and their constituent semi –finished products (solutions, pastes, waxes and reduction mediums).
• Some tests that I performed were: Viscosity test, Draw down test, Strength reduction, Grinding and settling tests, solid contents determination, tape and scratching test.
• Working on RK Printing Proofer, handling various substrates, comparing LAB values on X Rite, working on the company’s software, and storing sample bottles.
• Generating batch tickets of finished and semi-finished products, preparing Certificate of Assurance (COAs) for customers, dealing with their complaints and editing the formulation of the next batch of ink to enhance its quality as per their specifications. Maintaining records of customers, data entry, composing and replying to emails was an essential part of my job too.
