Mark Anthony Naval

Ph.D. holder with a proven track record in Philosophy, Humanities, Research and Religious Studies. A self- managing quality assurance officer who is goal-oriented making sure that all deadlines are met in accordance with the standard set by the Institution align with the policy and guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education. My work in philosophy focuses primarily on Existentialism, Phenomenology and Post-Modernity. My research interest covers the fundamental relationship between technology and human person and its anthropological ideals presented and provided by the philosophers of different eras. My current studies centered on the Phenomenological Anthropology of Karol Wojtyla.

In 2012, I made a Disciplinary Manual for the Institution which later became the archetype Manual for the entire country. In addition, I’m also a Member/Part of the Core Group who formulated and created the K- 12 Curriculum that will be used by the Department of Education in the Philippines. Recently, I conducted research that talks about the enhancement and development of all personnel and stakeholders which leads to the creation, formulation and writing of the Institutional Manual for Human Formation.

Participate in the development, update, installation, and implementation of quality philosophy, strategy, standard, policies, and procedures as well as the development, structuring, policies, implementation, maintenance, and periodic performance reviews of the institutional quality management system.
Assist in the development and maintaining the quality management tools, rubrics, and performance standards for school operations.
Assist in maintain compliance by the different work units with quality management guidelines; records and reports finding from the reviews and proposes required action plan responsive to the findings.
Assist in the preparation for the required materials in relations to the school’s applications for certifications renewal with certification bodies such as PAASCU (Philippine Accrediting Associations of Schools Colleges and Universities) and with other Government accrediting bodies.
Assist in conducting research activities by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports related to quality issues in the organization to serve as basis for the review, revision/update policies, procedures, and systems; conduct benchmarking with the education institutions to generate information on quality management best practices that can be applied within the organization.
Review and evaluate the Syllabus of the different Colleges three years after implementation.
Thesis Moderator and Member of the Panel for the Thesis Oral Defense.
Assisting the Research Office specifically on the matter of structure, content and technicalities of the research paper authored both members of the faculty and the students.
Develop a wholistic Human Formation Program in consultation with the different Department Head and Coordinators.
Ensures effective implementation of all activities towards transformation of the implementors and recipient of the Program.
Evaluates the Human Formation Program in line with the strategic goals and objectives of the Institution on human development and transformation of the people served by the Institution.
Teach Philosophical and Religion courses both in College and Senior High School Departments.
Revised the curriculum of all Religion subjects (K-12) and the syllabus of all Religion courses (College Department).
