With over a decade of hands-on experience in oil & gas, marine and industrial lifting operations, I specialize in executing complex lifts with precision, safety and efficiency. As an ADNOC-approved and LEEA-certified Appointed Person, I’ve led high-stakes projects across the UAE and India using mobile and crawler cranes.

I bring deep expertise in:

• Rigging calculations, crane dynamics and lifting gear selection.
• Developing Lifting Operation Plans (LOPs) across all crane categories.
• Coordinating with clients, logistics and field teams for seamless execution.
• Using AutoCAD, Liccon Work Planner and Cranimax for lift simulations and project planning.

Appointed Person for Lifting Operations (APLO) – ADNOC Offshore

Oct - 2024 to till now (1 year and 4 months - Hail and Ghasa project - GOP Island)

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with ADNOC lifting standards and conducting monthly audits.
• Develop and obtain approval of LOP (Lifting Operation Plan) across all crane categories.
• Check that all lifting gears are properly color coded, certified and inspected before use.
• Necessary planning for load test and third-party inspection of the lifting equipment.
• Completed and certified in WMS to carry out all the PTW system as per the safety standards.
• Approve and sign lifting permits of all JP (Job Performer) after verification of all necessary documents and checklists to proceed for lifting.

Heavy Lifting Engineer

Feb - 2023 to Sep - 2024 (1 year and 8 months)

 Key responsibilities

• Collection of all necessary inputs from the client after attending enquiry with them.
• Conducting pre-meeting with the client before the job execution for discussing about job sequence and requirements with client for proper and smooth operation.
• Proposing and executing lifting solutions tailored to site conditions thereby improving operational efficiency. 
• Coordinating client meetings and approvals for better project execution. 
• Optimized mobilization and demobilization equipment plan for timely execution of the job.
• Receiving feedbacks from the client for the completed job via customer feedback form for better improvement in the services.

Heavy Lifting Engineer.

Oct - 2020 to Oct - 2022 ( 2 years ).

Key responsibilities

• Performing site inspection to check the site and load information.
• Deciding the typeof equipment to be used as per site parameters for lifting specified load
• Preparing technicaldocuments such as Method statement, Risk assessment, Lift plan, Ground bearing pressure ( GBP ) calculations and other supporting documents.
• Integrating related plans & required documentsnecessary to completethe full project.
• Directing job execution during critical lifts.
• Planning the job as per oil and gas norms for oil and gas projects in UAE.
• Proper Coordination with site personnel& field coordinators regarding the job.
• Allocate discussion session with the Logistic team for sending the crane to designated sites.
• Necessary Planning for load test of lifting equipment such as spreaderbeam and lifting frame.

Major projects

• Lifting and erection of bridge precast using 600-ton Liebherr crawler crane and liebherr 1000-ton crawler crane at Al Aweer on E611 road for Tristar client.
• Lifting and erection of waterfront slabs and shafts using Liebherr 400-ton crawler crane at Dubai waterfront for Jan De Nul Client.
• Dismantling of tower crane using Liebherr 800-ton mobile crane at Dubai hills park for ECC client.

Project Engineer

Jun - 2015 to Aug - 2020 (5 year and 3 months)

Key responsibilities

• Lifting and Erection of project materials as per site drawings with suitable crane.
• Maintain proper safety aspects in job by preparing erection work permit and heavy material lifting permit.
• Conduct pre use inspection of liftinggears like slings,shackles and spreader beam before lifting.
• Checking all lifting parameters such as crane radius,ground condition, lifting gears capacity and load chart before lifting.
• Calculate SWL (Safe Working Load) for crane and lifting gears for the load to be lifted to ensure safe lifting of materials.
• Train lifting crews on technical plans and safety procedures.

• 2 X 500 MW New Thermal Power Project ( NNTPP ) at Neyveli, India.
• 3 X 600 MW ThermalPower Plant at North Chennai,India.
