- Data Management: Support the design and development and manage the content of databases, spreadsheets and other data tools; understand, document, and ensure the quality of high-value humanitarian data for accuracy, consistency and comparability; support the consolidation of operational information on a regular schedule to support analysis. Also, support technical staff in the development of templates, applications to facilitate the collection and processing of data using Esri apps (Survey123 app, Survey123 Connect, pg Admin DB)
- Data Analysis: Support the evaluation and analysis of datasets through meaningful statistical techniques (PowerBI, MS Excel)
- Geographic Information System (GIS) and Mapping: support the production and updating of high-quality map products (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise)
- Visualization: Assist in the production and updating of information products such as reports, charts and infographics by turning data into graphical products to convey messages and a storyline using PowerBI
- Reporting: Report to Mineaction sub-cluster through 4Ws, IMSMA and forward planning tools. attend meetings and annual cross briefs overseas as required
- Support: assessment and needs analysis activities, including humanitarian needs overviews, secondary data reviews, preliminary scenario definitions; provide advice on assessment design to ensure data quality; manage platforms and tools that support data collection and analysis such as KoBo Toolbox and Open Data Kit (ODK, xls forms)
- IT: troubleshooting IT requirements: laptops Softwaring, SW installations, Windows checkups, printer/scanner connections
- Training: induct field teams on using the data collection tool, train partners' IM officers on the IM generally and organization's IM SOPs
