Dr. Sawsan Dagher currently serves as Lecturer in the Electromechanical Engineering Department in Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from UAE University in 2014. After receiving her PhD, she worked as Postdoctoral fellow in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the UAE University for four years. Previously, she was a researcher in the same university since 2007. Dr. Dagher participated in the development of several Engineering Programs and Syllabi, and in CAA& ABET accreditation. Her research interests are in Material characterization, Nanotechnology, Microfluidics, Nano/microfabrication, Solar cells, Smart materials, and Sustainability, and she has published extensively in these areas, she has more than 40 publications in high-impact international journals and conferences. She serves as a reviewer of many international journals.
