I have about 8 years of experience in Logistics and distribution and out of that I have worked for more than 4 years in Dry cargo operations as an Operator. On a regular basis I am handling 08-10 vessels and during peak seasons up to 12-14 vessels. I am one of the best employee in my current company, and I have all the supporting documents to prove my growth.

I am hardworking, and I always try to update myself, I have recently completed Advanced diploma in Ship operations and management from ICS, UK to improve my knowledge of dry cargo operations.

I am handling 8-10 time charter vessels on a daily basis, from pre-fixture to completion of voyage. My role is to reduce the cost and maximize profit. When a vessel is fixed then based on hire and bunker market price, looking for the best voyage speed to reduce the cost.

Monitoring vessel performance on daily basis. Working with captain for stowplans, basis loadport and disport restrictions. Scrutinizing pda's and monitoring appointed agents. Processing payments on time and updating the same in system, keeping P&L up to date.

Preparing laytime calculations. Working with PnI and Lawyers in case of possible / ongoing disputes. Along with the above mentioned responsibilities, doing all the tasks a Dry Cargo Operator would be required to do.

I have done Engineering & MBA, along with that I have recently completed Advanced Diploma in Ship Operations and Management from Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, UK. The kind of education I have got helped me a lot in doing mathematical calculations, operating different kind of IT applications, and understanding commercial shipping operations. All these skills have helped me to be a good operator.
