Zaher Mroue

Equipped with more than 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, I led the execution of different global supply chain activities, including warehousing, logistics, import and export, strategic sourcing, procurement and supplier management with different companies in Africa and Lebanon. I am fluent in English, Arabic and Portuguese. I finished my training sessions for “Certified Supply Chain Professional” certification with Zabeel International Institute of Management and Technology.

I am preparing to pass the CSCP exam in July 2022. I have also started, since April 2022, an MBA with Hult International Business School.

• Set the procurement and sourcing strategies to improve profitability up to managing the collection process.
• Lead negotiations with global suppliers and clients for purchase and sale of FMCG goods (including: Confectionary, sweets & chocolate) and raw materials (including: glass jars & metallic caps) by optimizing the quality of products at the best market value rates.
• Manage the relationship with banks in respect of opening letters of credit and agreeing on their terms and conditions.
• Manage relationship with suppliers and shipping lines and approve the contracts with them and other relevant shipping documents.
• Contribute to set the pricing strategies to ensure achieving revenue targets.
• Review and monitor suppliers’ performance evaluation to maintain supply quality and delivery on time.
• Supervise the preparation of analysis reports in respect of stock optimization, pricing and planner forecast.
