• *About the Role**

Techsalerator is looking for a Data Engineer based in Argentina to join our growing team as an independent contractor. This is a fully remote position where you will play a key role in building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines that power our data products.

You will work closely with internal teams and may collaborate directly with senior stakeholders on data infrastructure and product development initiatives.

• *Key Responsibilities
• Ingest data from multiple sources, including FTP, SFTP, S3 buckets, APIs, and other environments
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Transform, clean, and structure data for delivery across different systems and formats
• Mirror third-party APIs into internal databases to support redistribution through our own APIs
• Ensure data reliability, consistency, and performance across pipelines
• Work with large datasets and optimize processing workflows
• *Requirements
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong experience with data ingestion from APIs, cloud storage, and file-based systems
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, especially S3)
• Familiarity with data pipeline/orchestration tools
• Experience building or supporting APIs for data delivery
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
